Launch of the New EcoPhi Platform – Modular, Flexible and Manufacturer-Independent
Launch of the New EcoPhi Platform – Modular, Flexible and Manufacturer-Independent The EcoPhi platform has been fully redesigned and restructured. This release represents a fundamental architectural update rather than an incremental iteration, with the goal of improving usability, extensibility and long-term scalability across diverse energy system environments. A key focus of the new platform is improved visualisation, navigation and user guidance. Data views, system states and control options have been reworked to provide clearer context and reduce complexity for users managing heterogeneous energy systems. The revised navigation structure supports faster access to relevant functions and a more consistent workflow across monitoring, analysis and control features. From a technical perspective, the new platform establishes a solid foundation for manufacturer-independent integration of

Enlit: Flexible EMS Solutions for the South African Energy Market
Enlit: Flexible EMS Solutions for the South African Energy Market From 21–23 May 2024, Enlit Africa took place in Cape Town, South Africa, bringing together energy utilities, system integrators, technology providers and project stakeholders from across the African energy sector. The event focused on grid stability, decentralised energy systems and practical solutions for markets facing structural supply challenges. At Enlit Africa 2024, we presented our energy management system (EMS) with a particular focus on its applicability to the South African energy market. Ongoing load shedding, increasing deployment of distributed generation and battery storage, and highly dynamic operating conditions require EMS solutions that go beyond fixed control strategies. Discussions with industry professionals highlighted a strong demand for flexible and configurable EMS
